My Story

During twenty years of teaching dance, I also taught Pilates based classes to parents of dance students. I found the challenge of encouraging non-dancers to achieve the Posture, Muscle Tone & Nutritional Habits that were second nature to me fascinating.

This was the inspiration for my change of career to Personal Trainer and Nutritional Advisor…

…and my work in this field in turn inspired the creation of Shaw Lifestyle.

As a dance teacher I guided my students to develop the Discipline, Commitment & Motivation that dance demands.

I am now dedicated to inspiring my clients to develop these same qualities.

I have combined my passion for teaching, my fascination for anatomy and movement potential, and my own belief in the benefits of wholesome nutrition and an active and healthy lifestyle.

I love the opportunity this has given me to help people reach a healthier, and ultimately happier, way of life.


I continue to search for the best ways to further develop my own knowledge and skill base, always reflecting my own particular interests. This has led to gaining qualifications as a Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) and as a Meditation Personal Trainer (MPT).
